Five Games For When You Only Have Five Minutes
Not every gaming session is a weekend marathon. Most of mine happen in the gaps, waiting for coffee, sitting on a train, killing time before a call. Here's what lives on my phone for exactly those moments.
Nitro Cliffs is my go-to for a quick jolt. A single race takes a couple of minutes and leaves you wanting one more, which is the whole magic of a good arcade racer. Lumen Keep is the opposite energy, calm and thinky, perfect for a slower minute.
Casinacho Games fits here too. Its stages are short by design, so you never feel cut off mid-thought when life interrupts. Harbor Tales is the odd one out since it rewards a little more time, but even a quick check-in on the town feels nice.
The trick with short-session games is that they should give you a clean stopping point. Nothing's worse than a game that punishes you for closing the app. All of these let you step away without regret.
