Strategy
Ironroot Command
★★★★☆ 4.2
Ironroot Command asks you to hold a shifting border against waves of raiders using a handful of unit types. It leans more toward tactics than base-building, and the maps are tight enough that one bad placement can cost you a run.
The touch controls are thoughtfully done: you drag units into formation and tap to trigger abilities, and it rarely feels fiddly. Later missions introduce weather and terrain effects that force you to rethink favorite strategies.
It's a touch repetitive if you binge it, but in short sessions the puzzle of each map stays fresh. Fans of defensive strategy will find a lot to chew on.
